CORSAIR Force MP600 Review

Benchmarks

AS SSD

In AS SSD, the Force MP600 performs near identically to the Force MP510 in Gen3 mode. I would have expected a bigger difference in performance, but in some instances the MP600 is a littler slower. This is only in this benchmark however, so it is quite possible that this is a software anomaly rather than a reflection on the Force MP600. Naturally this isn’t the case in Gen4 mode, where it is much faster than it’s predecessor.

When we look at 4K performance at a deep 64-thread load, the Force MP600 in Gen4 x4 mode, offers vastly superior IOPS performance against the Force MP510. For some reason though Gen3 mode for the Force MP600 means the MP510 is actually faster.

I suspect there may be an issue with either the benchmark or the operating system, but it’s quite puzzling that the MP510 manages to be faster than the Force MP600 in Gen3 x4 mode. That said, such numbers are largely academic.
