Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless Review

Conclusion

Overall, what can one say about the Virtuoso RGB Wireless? Well it’s quite a large step up from Corsair’s previous offerings. That said, headphones targeting a more discerning consumer (as per their words) do deserve a more capable audio processor. I had long suspected within the VOID series, the weak link was the audio circuitry. The Virtuoso RGB Wireless experience has confirmed this. The housing, build materials, feature set and drivers are great, making the audio processor’s short comings more apparent.

The price is on the steep side especially if you don’t use any of the wireless features. Nonetheless I’m still going to recommend this headset.

Initially I wanted to give a hardware award here, but the pedestrian wireless audio quality impedes this. That said, the Virtuoso RGB Wireless is fully deserving of the Gaming Gear award. Corsair has done a tremendous job here and I’m confident it’ll get even better going forward. As is, the Virtuoso RGB Wireless are my gaming cans of choice.
