ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO (Wi-Fi) Review
Benchmarks – Game tests
For gaming at least in these two titles, there’s absolutely no comparison. The new platform is far too quick for the Ryzen 7 2700 to have any hope of matching this performance from the Crosshair VIII Hero and Ryzen 5 3600 combo. Even if you’re not into overlclocking, just out the box, this combination of hardware delivers better performance than you could ever hope for with the previous generation.
In the more graphically demanding games, the bottleneck continues to be the graphics processor. Despite this, where there is a difference to be made by the platform, the Ryzen 5 3600 and Crosshair VIII Hero will come out ahead (This applies to other X570 boards as well of course).
