Nvidia GK104 (GeForce GTX 680) Compute Performance 17 % Higher Than Tahiti

Using the leaked GeForce GTX680 (GK104) specifications, a report has been made with estimated shader computer power being shown as up to 17 % greater than that of AMD’s Tahiti-based Radeon HD 7970, coming in at 4.46 TFLOPs of single precision floating point power. The following graph shows memory bandwidth (bandbreite), ROP performance (ROP-leistung), texture fillrate (texturierleistung) and pixel fillrate (rechenleistung) compared to that of the Radeon HD 7950 and Radeon HD 7970.
