Last week we revealed that the Gainward GeForce GTX 670 was available for pre-order in The Philippines. Today we can see that MSI has joined the club with their GTX 670, which is available immediately from an online store in Malaysia called Cycom. The card can be seen on their latest price-list for a price of RM 1380 (US $455 at the current exchange rate).

As NVIDIA has not yet officially announced the GeForce GTX 670, details are not known at this stage. However, we have it on good authority that they should be along the following lines:

  • ~ 900 MHz core speed
  • ~ 1,250 MHz (5.00 GHz effective) GDDR5 memory speed on a 256-bit bus for 160 GB/s memory bandwidth
  • 4 Graphics Processing Cores (GPCs)
  • 7 Streaming Multiprocessor (SMX) units
  • 1,344 CUDA cores
  • 112 Texture Memory Units (TMUs)
  • 32 Raster Operation Processors (ROPs)

A member of the Lowyat forums known as “lingloong” has supplied several more pictures of the retail card, which can be seen below. The card has a very strange position for the two 6-pin PCI-e power connectors, but other than that looks impressive. Source — Facebook Picture ; Source — Lowyat Forums
