Rendering Benchmarks

As expected the Ryzen 7 3800X, makes quick work of multi threaded workloads, pulling out a convincing lead over the Ryzen 7 2700. For the ones concerned primarily with rendering activities, there’s little to no reason to look elsewhere. If eight cores isn’t enough, perhaps the Ryzen 9 3900/3950X wll do. Either way 3rd generation Ryzen CPUs are particularly good at multi threading.

CineBench & Video Encoding

Cinebench much like the other benchmarks above shows the staggering performance gains AMD has made with this CPU generation. Even the Ryzen 5 3600X delivers better performance than the outgoing 2700 despite the four thread deficit. As you’d expect the Ryzen 7 3800X runs away with it when compared directly against the other sixteen thread CPU.
