AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Review

Software – AMD Ryzen Master

By now we are all familiar with AMD’s Ryzen Master Utility. Software overclocking made easy, but of course a little limited as some settings can’t be applied from with the operating system. That said, the utility offers a surprising number of tuning capabilities, even highly advanced ones (per core overclocking to a limited degree). The utility also has reporting options and a features that make it even better than what board vendors used to provide in their tuning suits by far actually.

I still prefer the UEFI, but in as far as the Master Utility goes versus say INTEL’s XTU, the Master Utility’s UX presents it all in a much better way with more tweaking options.  For a quick and direct way of tuning the system one can’t really fault the Master Utility. It’s thoroughly mastered if you will.
