The SSD Toolbox should be familiar to many, as I’ve covered this in previous ADATA drive reviews. What you can do here is the typical drive diagnosis, system optimization (triggering TRIM, disabling windows services which may compromise performance etc.) and a host of other functions related to the drive. It’s easy to use, simple and straight forward. Note that this pictures are from the ADATA GAMMIX S11 Pro, but the toolbox works in exactly the same way as it does on the SX8200 Pro.
Unlike with some other NVMe drives, there isn’t any driver to install or any other software package for you to use.
Much like the firmware update feature a previous AORUS drive, clicking update simply takes you to the SX8200 Pro’s landing page. Not sure if that’s the intended behavior or an oversight.
