AMD’s upcoming generation Radeon HD 8000 graphics cards based on the “Sea Islands” GPU, originally planed for a late 2012 release, has been delayed until the second quarter (April to June) of 2013, according to sources close to the company. The cause of the delay is a business re-organisation in wake of the company’s poor third quarter market performance. Source — DigiTimes
