Samsung Galaxy S III Details Emerge

Just when Samsung’s Galaxy S II seemed to be comfortably securing itself as the ultimate in smartphones, details emerge of its successor – the Galaxy S III. Packing specifications to make desktop PCs from the mid 2000s weep, the specifications are as follow:
- Samsung Exynos 1.5 GHz quad-core processor
- 4.8″ 1920×1080 display
- 8-megapixel rear-facing camera
- 2-megapixel front-facing camera
- High-Definition 1920×1080 video recording
- Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich”
- 4G LTE
- Ceramic case
That isn’t a typo, the phone will feature a 4.8″ Full-HD display. This allows for 1:1 viewing of video footage captured using the phone’s built in camera. This lessens the glory surrounding both the ASUS Transformer Infinity tablet with a 10.1″ 1920×1200 Super IPS+ display as well as the obliterates Apple’s Retina Display on the iPhone 4S which offers a 3.5″ 960×640 display.
