HDTune showed a slightly different story, but the trend was the same. The Mushkin atom once again beat the SanDisk Cruzer in both minimum and maximum transfer speeds, but the averages were well within the margin of error with a difference of less than 1%. Keep in mind that HDTune only tests sequential speeds, so it won’t show the strengths or weaknesses of the controller under high IOPS tasks such as small file reads and writes.
