Just as it was beginning to appear that AIBs would not be releasing top-end versions of the Radeon HD 7970, the MSI R7970 Lightning has been spotted and pictured at CeBIT 2012. Featuring an oversized PCB as we’ve come to expect from the Lightning range, the card has a 14+2-phase digital VRM, Twin Frozr IV dual-fan cooler and Military Class III components including Super Ferrite Chokes (SFC) and solid caps made of Tantalum.
