Corsair iCUE 465X RGB Review

Noise & Software

Noise

This chassis strangely enough, is quieter than the Crystal Series 680X. At least perceptively I think it is. Not via some magic Corsair’s worked, but because the side glass panel is secured right up against the case with no air gaps. Moreover, the LL120 fans can provide similar airflow at a lower RPM. Not because of the fans themselves, but the front glass panels distance to the fans, which is larger than it is on the 680X.

Software

The iCUE 465X RGB fans are plug into a single channel, but they can be configured independently from each other. Fan control will depend on your board vendor’s software) so be sure to install that, unless you prefer direct BIOS/UEFI settings.

There’s not much of anything else here, iCUE remains the central hub of all things CORSAIR and this is yet another addition to the growing list of hardware the application supports.
