AORUS SSD – NVMe Gen4 SSD Review
Test System and setup
CrystalDiskInfo reporting shows that the drive was indeed running in Gen4 x4 mode. This is worth checking on as on some motherboards specific PCIe slot and/or SATA port population can potentially reduce the link speed to x2 or even Gen3 in some cases.
Testing was done on the GIGABYTE X570 AORUS MASTER, which I’m sure GIGABYTE would say is the ideal companion board for this SSD. Either way, at the very least you’re guaranteed 100% compatibility.

As with many if not all SSD’s tested performance is always higher with CPU C-states disabled. However, that isn’t the way I would imagine people operate their computers. As such all testing was done under regular conditions with the default C-state settings.
